My day home is organized, considerably mellow to promote a peaceful, happy environment for your child!

Many day homes are just a way to generate income going about your life as usual. I plan my days, my meals, and crafts in the same way that a school teacher does and my whole day is to provide interactive play and learning.

I provide healthy meals and snacks. A lot of planning goes into the meals I provide for your children. I consider healthy nutrition very important for child development and try to implement Canada's food guide and calorie count relevent to your child's age.

We are presently learning a new letter of the alphabet each week along with songs and a relevant craft.

Last week we studied "A" and ants. We made little 'pretend' ant farms with sand and quite realistic looking kind of creepy ants. We learned the song "The Ants go Marching". It has been in my head all week long.

We now have some musical instruments for our music time.

Everyone wants the drum....they are all 'marching to their own drummer'... Lol!

I have openings for August 1, and August 2, 2011!

I only take a small number of children so that they get individual time and cuddling.

I believe my rates are very reasonable for the quality of care, nutrition and crafts I am providing.
